ALL drug use and distribution should be free from criminal penalty. The drug laws were initially conceived as a method of racial and ethnic cleansing American-style which explains why there are more blacks and Hispanics locked up for drugs even though FAR more whites use drugs.

Kids can't get alcohol at school but they have no problem getting high on just about everything else available there. Ecstacy, meth, acid, you name it.

In light of the fact that the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, an organization whose members enjoy substantial income from drug defendants, is so strongly opposed to the drug war as to issue a resolution calling for its end should tell us that something is very terribly wrong with the criminal justice system. Why else would they want to slaughter the goose that lays the golden eggs?

The USA still has a LONG way to go before it can live down its White Power racist heritage.

I do not use drugs nor do I drink..... I am not saying that I never had, but have made the decission not to do so......

In my opinion all srugs should be legalized..... We spend so much of our resourses on drug control that it prevents us from uses those resources to take care of our children and those that require medication to live....

Most crimes that are commited are drug related....... Any person addicted to drugs will do anything for their next fix, so if we legalize drugs and tax them like we do tabacco and alcohol there would be much less crime in our nation because the drugs would be available legally.....

Drugs are bad unkay, but I really do not care about those that abuse drugs..... It is their lives let them kill themselves, but lets tax the hell out drugs so we can use that money to help the homeless, the hungry, abused wifes, abused children......

Nothing. I saw people writing stuff like Meth. Well, I have a half sister who has been, at one point or another, addicted to every drug there is. She looks like the after photo when they show the before and after photos of people who do drugs. She looks like she is about 60, and she is only 37. Pot, if it were made legal, should be done so with rules like 'we are so gonna bust your @ss if you get caught smoking and driving'.

I think they should be legalized just like cigarettes, they should have it to where u can't buy unless ur 21, then they wouldn't be wastin so much space in jail cells and stuff. Cigarettes kill people just as often as other comon drugs, so why are cigarettes legalized? It's even proven that cigarettes can kill u....how crazy is that?

Perscription medication, if we need some pain medicine or xzanex we should be able to buy and handle them, and acid if people want to experience it then let em its amazing and all the other drugs could be legalized also i guess i mean i know first hand all drugs are addicting but so are ALOT of things one of many are ciggarettes and alcohol and people want em as a stress releiver and socially, so why not expand the list with out us getting in trouble

don't think any street drug other than pot should be legalized.....don't think pot will ever be legalized because the government couldn't tax something you could grow yourself.....I do however, think it should be decriminalized, because I can't see locking up someone and the cost to imprison someone for a weed that grows out of the ground, and lock them up with the really "bad" people that are in jail....it isn't opium, its weed......I think the meth epidemic is far worse, and our govt.officials should be more concerned with getting that off the streets than worrying about weed.....cocaine, heroin, and any other man made chemical should never be legalized......

None...
If you really need an answer the next choice would be cocaine.
Why? It used to be legal. It's schedule II. It has medical purposes (a topical anesthetic used in ear/nose/throat surgery.)
It's expensive enough to be used rarely (unlike it's sister drug crack).
It is not physically addictive.

Honestly, i think none of them. Only because people rob and steal enough already to get drugs, and if they were legal i think there would be MORE crime.
