What they did was repulsive. i mean how would u feel if u were in a room where they all hated you and taped ur death and displayed it to the entire world. and it was before chrsitmas if ur christian or b4 hanakkuh if ur hebrew?? and finishing one last prayer n they hung u before you finished ur last sentence. i mean UR LAST prayer alive! thats terrible. its a crime against humanity. i dont agree of what he did alive. but respect a creation of God.

No doubt Saddam was not a good guy, but still I think public execution was too good for him. Saddam got the death penalty for ordering the murder of 140 villagers 23yrs ago, even though Saddam has been unofficially accused of killing thousands of Iraqis over the past 25yrs. Saddam should have been punished for the rest of his life (I mean bread and water every other day, daily whippings, and etc.). Let's not fool ourselves! There many other dictators still alive and in control of their countries that deserve what Saddam got, but the U.S. is not overly concerned with those guys since their oil reserves are nil.

While I don't think Saddam was an innocent lamb, I do think his execution was premature. As GL said, he is reputedly reponsible for several thousand political murders. Because he has been executed he will never be held accountable for all of those crimes. I think the White House wanted him executed before the Democrats took office so he would not be around to answer embarassing questions. Dead men tell no tales.

I believe he was guilty but I also believe the trial and the way the execution was carried out left a lot to be desired.

it was not a fair trail and what they done is like taking revenge they have not showed any evidence of what he was being accused .. he might had done mistakes but that doesnt give them the right to execute him and insult him during the execution like the way they did . wat happened is not going to help iraq its just going to make the situation worse and u will see it .

It was more than fair. If they had charged him with every crime he commited, every death he was responsible for, the trial alone would have taken a decade.

i believe saddam got a fair trial, for his crimes yes he got what he deserved. he killed so many of our people and his own, he was a very cruel individual. regardless of his beliefs, he was wrong. so he was punnished for his crimes!!

maybe not the best trial, but more open and fair than he gave most of the people that he killed

You have a fair question.
You ask, you believe it was not fair...this is your opinion...your opinion is ok.
Thank you.
