See the current scenario in Indian politics is that if there are 10 parties in a constituency, all the 10 are corrupt .Eventually one has to be selected and whoever gets selected is going to be corrupt.. The fear of the politicians make the educated people think twice b4 entering into politics.

because who r not corrupted don't want to go to politics . but we r the future we can make India better, because of the illiteracy corrupt politician win election , someone have to Begin , there is the fault of citizens r all the citizens following each & every rule today also many youngstars break the traffic signals ! so we r responsible for what is going on . if the citizens want thier rigths then they have to follow thier duty, ask ur self do u follow each & every rule OR can u come to the place of those illiterate people? so litterate youth should take part in activities like politics & one day we will shine , india would again be a prosperous nation.

Well sometimes people elect others for appearances,politicians tend to use many psycological games on people's head,you might say brainwash,they also promise and promise,do some benefitial actions and thats it.
A literate indian will start taking a part in democracy when people start their shout,when everyone gets together and a good leader gets in head of a movement in order to have a change.

It is because we dont know who to elect. A dacoit, rapist, robber and a pick-pocketer; from these I select a Pick-pocketer who is much harmless with others. So ultimately, it is not necessary every winning politician is a good man. Even Mr. T.N Seshan who is considered to be a good Administrator nationally failed miserably in Presidential elections. Even today UPA won; but it is still one of the Minority appeasing party in India.
