When wearing stud earrings which i don't take out should I leave my studs in my ear or do I have to take them out to clean them. Because I just leave them in my ear and when I take a shower I guess the water cleans my ear.

you should leave them in & clean them that way until they are healed. then you can take them out to clean them. that will be a good thing to do... they do get yucky. once a week would be a good thing to do. just for cleanliness & sanitary reasons... you know... use some rubbing alcohol to clean the earrings & your ear(s)....

you will be fine to leave them while showering. i have never owned a pair that got to the rusting point in the shower.... ewww... must take a long time for that to happen...

When you first get your ear pierced, it's important to clean the ear with hydrogen peroxide and apply antiobiotic ointment twice daily. You should also spin/rotate the earrings in the hole each time you clean them. Once the area is totally healed and no longer red/painful, you can leave certain types of metals in your ear indefinitely. I have worn silver hoops and gold studs for years without removing. If you're wearing cheap earrings, I wouldn't leave them in for an extended time because the coatings rub off over time. If the pierced hole gets red, hot, swollen or painful, remove the earrings and see your doctor.

It depends how long its has been in your ear for. When I get my ears piercied I take the earring out every month and clean it. Bacterias from dead exfoliated skin, and gunk can get on it without even noticing. Usually sometimes it seems like the shower gets it but use some hydrogen peroxide just to make sure. If the peroxide starts bubbling near the piercing it means it needs to be cleaned and that its minorly infected.

You can leave them in your ear. I would take them out every once in a blue moon to clean the earrings in alcohol. That's what I do, but I am compulsive sometimes.

You should take it out every once in a while just to be sure its clean cuz the shower may not always clean it.

Water may cause earrings to rust. I would take them out unless they aren't fully healed.

I would take them out once in awhile and rinse the earrings in hydrogen peroxide and swab your ears with hydrogen peroxide as well...
