What does the punctuation in the middle of a headline mean?
I am constantly getting spammed with FR.EE offers,
or instant cre~dit.

They do that so it gets past spam filters, and block lists.

The punctuation in the middle of a headline (like the subject to an email) is a gimmick to get you to look at it. It's just a way to look different from the rest of the subjects. This gimmick is used by scammers so beware.
