Some law schools have degrees that aren't a JD, but a Master's in legal studies; you might be able to knock this out before or after medical school (I recommend before, since internships and residencies take up so much time). The Master's will be less intensive, but will still introduce you to the law. Be sure to speak with professors at the schools in which you are interested, and see if they'll allow you to sit in on a class, or at least review some of the syllabi.

This can lead to incredibly lucrative and rewarding careers. An old family friend, now passed away, had degrees in both areas, and owned her own business, as a legal consultant. She would assist in cases where medical questions arose. She loved her work, and had a varied and rich life, as a result of all of the different people she got to encounter, all of the lives she was able to touch.

I don't think you are but...

...if you're asking if MD/JD programs exist, then yes -- and not just at the big schools like Harvard. It's a long program -- 6 years, I think.

Master's programs, I don't know. Intuitively, I'd say no.

There might be a Legal Studies MA program with a concentration in Medical Sciences... but that's probably not too common because people who want to work in the legal side of medicine (like medical malpractice) usually just go to law school instead.

Which is certainly understandable. Why go 2 years for a Legal Studies MA program with a concentration in Medical Sciences when you can just go 3 years at a law school instead?

Neither law nor medicine are master's degrees. The degrees are Medical Doctor (MD) and Juris Doctor (JD).

It is possible to do both. I have met someone who did a MBA and an MD at the same time. I also know people with a JD and an MD -- though I believe that they did not get them concurrently.

It is possible- but probably impossible physically- to get your MD as you know, takes more time out of the classroom and in clinicals than there is in a week--really research this-- you can always get your MD if you are accepted already and then get your law degree at a later date- the latter is much easier.

Good luck to you -- you surely are one ambitious young fellow-- are you looking for a girlfriend? I have a really cute blonde haired size 0 22 year old----- just kidding

You must be a time traveller. There is no way you'd have the time or fortitude to live through that endeavor.
God Bless.
