Im 19 and me and my mum are having some difficulty and Im thinking of movin out and renting a house in the next 6 months.Im currently working and earningg $764 weekly and doing modeling on the side.Im looking for a one bedroom flat or unit from $110 to $140 Ive found heaps which have transport.Im also lookin in to getting rent assistance which a friend suggested.Would this be enough money to live on and pay rent and food and electrical and bills any suggestions and experiences would be good.

live in a totally secured apartment. Don't live with people you don't know. be really careful of who you take home & always remember your number 1

You make 2 much money 4 rental assistance get a room mate it's the only thing 2 do.Plus if U can rent an apartment for $110 or $140 your doing good here in Ct they go for $725 per month 1 bedroom nothing included.Good Luck

I wished I lived where you live where rent is 110 to 140 I live in a California where a one bedroom is starting at 900

i don't know if you have enough. it all depends on your spending habits and which city/state you live in.

i think a bigger question is how much do you have in savings? what happens if you loose your job? how many months of savings will have have to cover rent, food, utilities, extra emergency expenses, insurance or health insurance.....

having savings will give you more flexibility in the future. you should also think about it while you think about your present.

Try moving next door. That way you won't have so far to crawl when you want to come back. Just joking. I would try to find a compatible room mate that would share expenses.

find a room mate to pay half but remember they have to be someone you can trust and have a steable job to pay their half, limit your spending make a budget and stick to it
