you would type the ip address of your DSL connection. Just open a browser window and type in the address and hit enter.

you access the router from outside your network using your dsl IP address, not the internal IP address that you use to refer to your router. your router might have an address that starts with 192. your DSL IP address probably starts with a 6 or 7.
keep in mind that you may need to specify port 8080 by adding :8080 to the end of the IP address when you enter it into internet explorer.
good luck,

It's http://ROUTER IP ADDRESS:port number be sure that it is the IP address provided by your DSL provider if you are not sure of the IP address contact you provider and ask the IP address that they have provided to you sometimes port number is not necessary but why not give it a try.

Put the LAN IP address of the router in the browser and press enter. It should work. If not then use : http://LAN_IP_Address:Port_Number
Example: say my lan ip of the router is 192.168.0.1 and port 8000 then type http://192.168.0.1:8000 in the browser.

Do you have a fixed IP? if yes then use http://{fixedip}:{port}
else find the wan ip using whatismyip.com, most dynamic IP stay on for 3 days till the ISP sets the expiration.

http://[ipaddress:port#] example 'http://192.168.1.2:1144'
You would use your ISP provided public address...you will find that on a 'status' page in the router.
