I don't know where you get your facts.
On average the male brain wieghs more, because on average men are larger than women.
On that note, men may have bigger brains, but women use more of their brains- going between both hemispheres of the brain whereas men often are left hemi-thinkers. Although, some men say this is why women can never make up their minds!

I've heard the opposite, but maybe you have a good, current source to support your statement.
Since the average female brain cavity is smaller, the obvious explanation of greater brain weight would be that women have denser brains.

I would think that this is due to the corpus callosum (the connection between the two halves of the brain) which is thicker in females and would therefore be heavier. This is what gives females a superior ability at multitasking as both halves can work in tandem more easily.

on a lighter side..i wud say females do lot of thinking & retrospection..which is why they are loaded with more cells..
that explains why female brain weigh heavier..

You have to ask? Maybe cause women use their brain more. Maybe it grows larger from increased stimulation. And yes, I'm a guy. Us guys should just admit that at times we are quite dumb... But ladies, at least we are predictably dumb.
