Ambition is Motivation, which teaches you how to improve a situation. Anyone can learn to motivate themselves. You do it already by going to work everyday, that takes motivation and an ambition. You have it you just don't see it because you are tired and haven't taken time out for yourself. If you take some time for yourself you will be able to sit down and make a list of things you want to work on in regards to motivation. Sounds like you just need time to breath.

I think some people are more ambitious or energetic than others, but having said that... I believe you can foster ambition by setting goals for yourself. And those goals should really mean something. It's much easier to throw yourself into a project, school, work, if you have a satisfactory reason for doing it.
Sometimes you have to sit down and really think about what you want for yourself (and for those you care about). I'm betting if you spend time thinking about your future, maybe write down a few things you'd like to accomplish in your lifetime, for one reason or another, you'll see your motivation increase.
Start with a couple small goals and see if you don't feel a bit more motivated. As you get older, you will probably experience true ambition. The fact that you're thinking about it is a good thing! Good luck!!

friend,
this is something which ur society and surrounding gives u. u see many things around u and there is something for which u get in to the lust for that, slowly u are so attracted towards it that it becomes ur ambition to achieve that.
see the problem with u may be that u caouldn't have realized that, the opposite word for ambition is 'satisfaction'. that is a great thing! u might have got that.!!!

It's basically a lofty form of desire. Often people create distant or grand images of what they could be in the future then try to fullfill them. If you have a general idea of where your life is going and see no cause for concern then you have no need for ambition.

In order to have ambition, you not only need to desire something, but must be willing to attain it. If you have everything you want, or want nothing, it's hard to be ambitious.
