No and neither would I allow all those repair men in my house while I am gone. You need to schedule them on one day and take off from work and be there.

If you make more than that per hour I would definately pay someone or you will never get the work done. However, it had better be someone you know well or you could be ripped off by anyone coming and going including the person you hire to supervise the work. Otherwise, take some sick leave or vacation time or just talk with your boss about getting off a few hours and schedule the work on the same day.

If you do not trust the repair men, how could trust somebody else and pay him too. I would advise to push your workers on a weekend to come over

Try and get a friend or relative to come and wait for them. If you MUST pay someone to wait, reschedule them all for one day or two at the most, then you won't have to pay so much.

Hire me, i'd love to do it!

Really I don't know, you will want to be sure you could trust whoever you got. Maybe you could ask your friends if they know someone who cleans houses that they trust, and then hire them to clean your house, and wait for the workers on the side.

Doesn't sound like a bad gig. Make sure if you do not know the person that you run a background check and references.

IF YOU DONT HAVE FAMILY OR FRIENDS THAT YOU CAN DO
THIS FOR, THEN I DONT SEE WHY NOT YOU HAVE TO WORK, SO IT WOULD EXTRA MONEY FOR SOMEONE.
