If you are a male, you are aware where your pee comes out. That little organ is your penis. You have a bladder below your belly button which gets full of pee, about every 2 or 3 hours during the day. When the bladder signals you that it is full, you need to empty it out through a tube that goes through the penis (urethra).

After you mature, sometime between age 11 and 16 (puberty), you will find that your penis grows more and becomes hard more often, for a reason. The penis has a new function, to expel a white substance, called semen which carries in it sperm. Then you will find that a hard penis is a pleasure to touch and stroke (masturbation). After it has been stimulated enough the white, gooey semen will come out of the penis' hole like a bullet out of a gun.

Eventually, you will have more fun when you put your hard penis into the woman's dark tunnel (the vagina) found below her belly button and bladder. Then the sperm may swim into her to find an egg, to fertilise it, and to make the beginnings of a baby. Until you are old enough and mature enough to raise a baby, you need to protect your penis from expelling your semen either outside the vagina or inside (birth control) with a condom [rubber] for your penis to wear. Girls have other ways to protect themselves from getting pregnant.

If you are a girl asking this question, I have just told you how the male's penis works. You need to know so you can explain it to the boy.

Extra knowledge: the head of the penis, known as the purple mushroom or glans, is hidden at birth under the foreskin that covers it. If you live in the USA and in a lot of other places, the foreskin is usually removed when the male is an infant by quickly cutting it away after covering the penis with a cream that prevents pain. The glans is then always visible. That cutting is called circumcision. It is a parental decision when the child can't speak for himself. But it can be done later at any time. It is a good idea for simpler hygiene, neater looks, and for preventing some problems that can occur as the male grows up.

Greetings,

I am glad that you asked this question. The penis can be used for pretty much anything - making you dinner, mowing the lawn, taking out the rubbish, changing lightbulbs, killing spiders ect. A penis may also break your heart, forget to call you back and make you cry.

Go ask your mother. Let's hope she doesn't choke on your question.
