Go into to your guidance counselor and tell him/her that you are bored with the math that you are taking- insist on being tested- immediately and tell them what math you want to be placed in. They HAVE to test you- it is school law to test children to place them correctly, be it in special ed or advanced placement-
Good luck to you and I hope you do well
Oh, if they give you any grief- have your parents go in with you.

It is not the same thing as advancing from 4th grade math to 5th grade math. Each class requires learning a unique set of skills, and you need to know Algebra basics before you can advance to Geometry. They are very different types of mathematics, so you can't just skip one and proceed to the next one. Now, if you were taking Pre-Algebra and wanting to advance to regular Algebra, I'd say to talk to a counselor at school. But what you're asking is very different. Besides, this late in the school term, it wouldn't be a great idea to shift classes, because you'd be starting geometry halfway thru the term, and you'd have missed a lot of the intro stuff from the first semester...

1) Make a GOOD impression on your teacher by SPELLING WORDS CORRECTLY, first of all (i.e. eith grade)
2) I took High School Algebra I and Geometry in the 8th grade and got an A in both, because I talked to my counselor. This later bit me in the butt because my 9th grade year I took Algebra II and my 10th grade year I took Pre Calculus and my 11th grade year Calculus I and my 12th grade year College Calculus....ALL OF THEM WERE SUPER HARD!!!!!!!!!!
