Liberals want elementary kids taught about homosexuality but our own armed forces arent supposed to be on college campi?
liberals support the troops though!!!!

simple question--why do liberals oppose our military being on college campi?
many schools are attempting to let them on, and college liberals protest them when they are--what word are u having trouble with?
it seems the school system has dumbed liberals down to where they cant even read

Yes...I understand.
In the county that I live in, it is MANDATORY that all HS students attend "Homosexuality Awareness and Tolerance" class.
Talk about forcing an agenda!!

The people at various schools were protesting a provision in the "No Child Left Behind" Act which required high schools to supply contact information to the military for recruitment purposes. Many schools and parents think that this is an intrusion and have a right to protest it if they so desire. You of course have the right to support this governmental intrusion, if you so desire.
Sometimes children need values education when it concerns the health and safety of other people. Children should learn that it is not okay to beat someone up because they are different. Since many parents seem to be remiss in imparting this value to their offspring, then the schools need to do it.
P.S. The plural of campus is campuses.

In the US we get to protest that with which we disagree.
Recruiters are allowed on campus because colleges get federal money, federal money can be cut off if recruiters are not allowed to be there.
As a parent, I don't want some professional recruiter trying to get my kid signed up for the military, but I guess I have no choice if they are old enough to go to college. However I can sure protest if I want to!!
As for homosexuality - that is about making information available to kids; why would you want to deny knowledge to anyone??

So military recruiters aren't allowed on any college campuses (campi is such a silly word I'm not sure anyone uses it)? Are you sure about that?
BTW good luck on keeping an eigth grader ignorant that homosexuality exists, it's gonna be tough.

I'm really tired of big government controlling every aspect of our lives!
We a need a return to a smaller government that only collects fees to fix the dam roads, leave the values to be taught by the families of the nation.

huh? what's that about college campi? i don't get it.
it's okay that liberals want kids taught about sexuality, it's called information, and this is a new world we live in. there's nothing wrong with that. i leaned about sex and condoms in 3rd grade. no big deal.
