I am watching the Tonight Show and Jay said people gave a lot of women this gift for the holidays.
I think I would be a little upset.

ouch! My initial feeling is that's just rude...like giving someone deoderant for their b-day! But what the heck do I know? Honestly, I would go to the place the gift certificate was from, because a lot of those places offer more than just cosmetic surgery...maybe a facial or some new-age skin products. If none of that was availabe, I would re-gift it to my mom, who has been whining about needing a face-lift. And then, next Christmas, I would give this unsavory individual the Chipmunks Christmas Album.

I'm sure for some women that was the best gift they could ever get. As for the rest they will probably end up selling their's and making quite a bit of money so really something like that shouldn't insult anybody. Everyone wins all the way around.

I'm watching Jay Leno right now too!
I commented to my husband that if he ever dared to give me one of those for Christmas that HE would be the one in need of the plastic surgery!

I would be upset also. But one of my students was a nurse who worked for a plastic surgeon and stated that in L.A. it is a popular gift.

A lot of women want cosmetic surgery. I'm sure they were thrilled with the gift certificate.

I'd give it to the 1st women I see with low self-esteem because I surely won't benefit from it. I'm not perfect, but I'm great in Gods' eyes

Very bad gift, you should be love not caring in the way you look, what's matter is inside.

I would use it as I would expect that anyone who gave me such a gift would have prior knowledge that I would want something like that.
