Abraham --- the patriarch
Abraham had one son by his wife, Sarah, named Issac. He also had a son by his concubine named Ishmael.
Issac went on to father the Jews and Issac's decendants fathered Mohammaed who founded Islam.
A small group of Jews became the first Christians but many other ethnic groups joined Christianity.
