The Gothic Lolita Sub culture is actually pretty interesting, as it has different levels and different types. I tried to find you a good article about the but could not locate one... It's all very complicated though.

I've included the link to Cosmates, a Japanese site that sells Lolita clothes as well as other things.. They sell everything from dresses to stockings and head dresses. They're really nice, and very affordable. Nice photographes too, if you just want to look.

Dollfies are made by the company Volks, but the term is widely used to describe any number of Asian Dall Jointed Dolls. There are many brands! And many sizes! The Super Dollfies you hear about (refered to as SD) are about 60cm high, they are 1/3 the size of an average human. There are also MSD, mini Super Dollfie. There are smaller, and larger ones too. Dollshe makes 70cm dolls called Hounds, for instance.

You can't really make your own but there are Obitsu dolls, which are not ball jointed but have a similar appearence. They don't have the same glass eyes as a Dollfie, nor are they made of hard resin. They are less expensive, but the bodies are still about $160 or a little higher.

You can try Ebay as well.

I hope the links I gave you help...

Oh I thought you were talking about the famous novel by Vladimir Nabokov.
I think it's more honest than people want to admit.
"Light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta."
