I'm wondering there is a group of People claiming American Indian Heritage in the state of Pa. and the leader of this group claims he has 24/7/365 CIA Protection.

I know it sounds crazy.

According to its charter and subsequent legislation and court decisions, the CIA supposedly is restricted in its activities in the U.S.A. This doesn't mean that they don't occasionaly persue a bad guy or cooperate with other agencies on U.S. soil. They do what they need to do and worry about consequences later. Remember, Daddy Bush was CIA director once upon a time. He still has friends working there.

The one U.S. citizens really have to worry about is the NSA. They are everywhere, with better equipment, more skilled people, and unlimited powers it seems.

The basic mandate of the CIA is to not have anything to do within the inner structure of the U.S. It's supposed to be only a foreign policy network information gathering outfit. But I also have some some great swamp land to sell you if you are interested.

Yeah...that does sound crazy.

And it wouldn't be the CIA it would be the FBI(if it were true).
