Try "Walk Forever by my Side" by the Welsh band The Alarm. It's from the late 80's but is not a dated tune. Simple vocal with piano. Would be perfect for a man or woman to sing if you didn't want to use the Alarm's version.

well my suggestion will be "LADY" by Kenny Rogers...
tell you why...this song is very romantic and if you look up the lyrics and try to memorize them and sing them to your bride softly while your first dance trust me that will be a memory she will Never forget and make you the most special groom of the history....(wow I'm hoping I'm writing to the groom LOL)
