Over The Shoulder Baby Holder! This was one of the best things I ever spent money on! Its so comfortable for both you and baby. And it comes in soooo many colors and patterns. I tried quite a few others and none came even close to this. This was the last one I'll ever buy! You can get them on the Internet. Just type in the name above in a web search. Some websites will send you a free movie on how to wear it also. It's really not that hard to learn. But its nice to have the instructions for all the different ways you can wear it. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I could not have survived the first 3 months without the "Ultimate Baby Wrap" I got at Babies R Us. It took a few tries to get the hang of tying it, but once I got it down, it was really easy to use, convenient, and the baby loved it. My baby was born a little small, and she had acid reflux, congestion, and trouble breathing - I needed somehting that could accomodate her small size and keep her upright. I also like that there are so many different ways to use it, and it can work for older kids too.

If you go to www.mobywrap.com you will see pictures of a similar wrap, and instructions for different ways to hold your baby in it. However, the Ulitimate Baby Wrap has a pocket, which is SO useful!

I just have to echo a previous answer and say "the ultimate baby wrap" is the best. It took my a few tries to get it on but after that I fell in love! You can "wear" your baby in a variety of positions using this. I know amazon.com carries these but I bought mine at a local independent baby shop. It is made out of t shirt like material. My baby is 4 months and I use it a good bit.

check out http://www.thebabywearer.com/ they have reviews and forums to ask questions. I haven't used a sling, only a mei tei (asian carrier) for my toddler. Good luck!

They sell one at Babies r Us that is not bad. I made one with my third child for about 10 dollars that worked great, but I bought the one at Babies r Us for my fourth. I ended up going back to the one I made, because it was more comfortable on me.
