People are intent on going where ever they are going. They do not want anyone to get in their way, whether it be in traffic or walking down the sidewalk. People are also so rude it is pitiful. You will get better at driving and you won't have to worry about them anymore. Good Luck.

I have a manual transmission myself. I have been driving it for over 2 years, and to this day I still stall it every now and then. Its just the rate of speed the catch plate and the clutch come together that stalls the car.

I'm currently learning a stick shift too : ). But when I started out, I only dorve around my neighborhood at night when no one was around, so i could get used to the shifting. Taking off with the 1st gear was the worst XD

i put off getting my license for a year because i ws so afraid of what people would do if my car died. best advice i have is to not pay any attention to them. They're jerks. Driving a stick is a lot of fun and you'll be glad you learned it. You'll find you have a lot more patience for other drivers when you drive a stick as well. hang in there! it's a lot of fun.

People are usually in a hurry and you seem to be slowing them down. Why don't you practice on country roads that have little or no traffic. You won't be in anyone's way and it won't take but a couple hours to learn the stick shift. Have fun.

People these days are just too impatient. What I hate most is when I want to change lanes and there is a car in the other lane, plenty far enough behind for me to get over, but when I put on my signal they speed up to get passed me. Drives me nuts!

People are rude and it is a shame. Stick with it, you will love it. Stick shift gives you more control over the car. Good Luck

because most people these days have little to no patience, they expect that just cause they know how to drive it that means you automatically know how, dont worry about them and just keep practicing, you will enjoy it very much, it is alot funner then driving an auto, except when your stuck in stop and go traffic then its a pain
