It's not the hormones that make guys gay. It's simple ones choice whether it's a guy or female. They aren't born that way they just choose to become that way which is really sad so I disagree with your question. Hormones have nothing to do with ones decision with their life.

I've heard some speculation that because soy contains phytoestrogens it may play with man's hormone levels but the latest studies i've read says that no, soy can actually improve function of testosterone in men. Whether that si for adult men taking it or for pre-pubescent boys though I don't know.
I guess the thing to remember is that there has always been documentation of homosexuality through history (even in no soy and pre-hormone areas) so diet doesn't apply to that. Could present diet and lifestyle contribute..? hrmmm I guess until we get honest figures about what percentage of the population is gay (which I think officially it is about 7-8%?) we will never know.

nature vs nurture....will we ever find out? Also, it may not be that the percentageof gays are increasing, but more likely the amount of gays that feel they can be open about it and are not inhibitied by culture or religious beliefs. Thus it's going to be a bit more easily observed.

i personally believe that food has nothing to do with a persons sexual preference. they are either born gay or in some cases (male and female) they make that choice at some point in life. i don't see how food could make a person gay or anything of the sort.

Ridiculous!
People are born gay. You don't become gay by eating something. Being gay isn't a disorder, it's natural.

IMHO, a gay person cannot be straight any more that a straight person can be gay. It is in our genitics. It is not a choice!

Go gay, huh? Beer. Beer is the culprit. You know what the difference is between a straight guy and a gay guy? About a six pack. Drink up!!!

No, I think its something that happens in brain development. Just because its more spoken of now, doesn't mean it hasn't been around for years, when they didn't use hormones in food.

Homosexuality is either something you are born with or develop right after birth. Bisexuality, however, can be learned, usually before puberty.
