About to become first time skiers but do not want to spend 300 bucks each on new ski gear for what may be just one days activity on the slope. We want to either rent by the day or buy second hand.

Also, there is a factory outlet mall in Silverthorne in Summit County off I-70, right on the way to many of the big ski areas in Colorado. If you find you like skiing, this would be a great place to find bargains on clothing.

Try The Sports Authority. There are a few of them scattered around the metro area. Probably no used stuff, but they've got a lot of good stuff for cheap.

i dont know if they rent clothing, but breeze ski on 6th ave and union rent skis and snowboards really cheap.

with people who come visit me from out of town i normally just by some long underwear, a pair of sweatpants and a pair of cheap waterproof rainpants
