Mine is the 7th game of the 1.991 WS. A ten inning 1-0 shutout by Jack Morris. That's also the best one game performance I've ever seen, due to the circumstances. And I was rooting for the Braves!

The night Cal Ripken broke Lou Gehrig's record. At that time attendance for major league baseball games was drastically down because of the strike that happend the season before, and it seemed that what baseball needed was a really great story and Cal brought it to them. It was very emotional with his family there in attendance, and then he jogged around the whole field at Camden Yards. Hard to think baseball will ever have such a class act as Cal Ripken Jr ever again.

I am a die hard Tigers fan and I have to say the night Joe Carter ended the World Series for Toronto in the SkyDome (I believe in 1993) by taking that Mitch Williams pitch over the left field wall was the best game I have ever seen. It beats out Magglio's homer for the Tigers against the A's this past year because it wasn't the World Series and we had a three game lead. I got goose bumps when I saw how happy Joe Carter was and will always wonder how that would feel. I can still hear the call in my head. "Touch 'em all Joe, Touch 'em all!! You will never hit a bigger home run in your entire life!!" Any one game that featured the end of a World Series and season in one swing deserves to be my favorite game. (I am way too young to have watched the Pirates Series winner, but I bet that was pretty good, too!)

The Dodgers vs. the Padres i wasn't the person that saw it on ESPN Classic or anything like that i watched it from the first pitch 2 the last homerun hit by Nomar. It was such a good game not only did they hit 4 consecutive but it was in the 9th inning and 2 of them were against the all-time save leader in Trevor Hoffman.

BEST BASEBALL GAME EVER!!!!!!

I was at a game last May, Pirates vs. Astros. Pirates tied it in the bottom of the 8th with a homer. Game went extra innings. Astros ended up taking the lead in the 17th inning. Then, Jose Castillo of the Pirates hit a home run in the bottom of the 17th to tie it. In the bottom of the 18th inning, Jose Bautista of the Pirates hit a shallow pop into right field with Jason Bay on third base. The right fielder made the catch, threw to home, only to have Bay plow over the catcher and the Pirates won in 18 innings. Game wasn't over until almost 2 AM

The 1988 World Series game where just before it started, Oakland was hit with the earthquake. Not only was everyone glued to the tv to see how Oakland was affected...but remember they almost cancelled the world series due to it. The quake ended up helping Oakland win the series since they were able to let the top pitcher in baseball (Dave Stewart) rest and start and extra game. He had 2 or 3 seasons where he won over 20 games

game 4 of the 2004 playoffs when Boston did the impossible against the Yankees.
Also, the 1986 world series NY Mets vs. Boston Red Sox when Buckner changed the course of the series. I will never forget where I was watching that game and the reactions of everyone around me. Hard to believe I am now a Red Sox and Mets fan, I can blame my son for that.

Probably Game 5 of the ALDS between the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners. The Mariners were down by one run entering the bottom of the 11th inning. With Joey Cora on third and Ken Griffey Jr. on first, Edgar Martinez hit a double into the game. Cora easily scored and Griffey went for it all. He safely slid into home and won the Mariners the series.

Game 7 NLCS. The World Series was exciting as well, but it's hard to beat an NLCS that came down to a 2-run homer in the top of the 9th and a strikeout with bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th.

I agree with you, but the NLDS with Pittsburgh in 1990 was the equal. I am not a Braves fan but I think that those 2 games have to ranked at the top of any list even for a Yankee fan like me!
