Both are used by other animals as a source of food via liquids from their bodies: cows give milk that is collected by humans and aphids give nectar that is collected by ants.

both are used as cattle - we milk cows and ants milk aphids, keep them safe and protect them from predators. The aphids produce sugary waste products that the ants drink.
