You even realize later... 'hey, i mis represented myself.. I talked to that person about 'problems' that really don't bother me or were from my past, but aren't problems now'...

Does this happen to you when you find a really really interested listener?

Ohhhh yes...and it blew up right in my face. That is why I learned the lesson to not trust so quickly. And when I do find myself in a situation where I'm telling all.....I catch myself and turn the table around so that I get that person to open up and spill their guts to me. Then I am the interested listener and they get to feel like an idiot later.

Yeah been thru it. I poured out things that really hurt & I was in an abusive realtionship & trying to get out at the time, but I didn't realize my freind who I confided in was waiting for opportunity bcuz she was unhappy. I learned to wait & see who is true & watch what i say & never hang with miserable people they alwayz bring u down. I left alot of supposed to be friends alone & started over & now i have been married to the same man for over 13 years & left the abusive & destructive people in my past. Life has ups & downs but learn from it & keep ya head up high , love yourself & trust in God he's your only true freind & will never betray u.

Oh yeah. Then stuff I said got repeated to other people I worked with at the time. Lesson learned! It is so rare to find someone who you can trust that it is best to always be cautious about what you share.

Yeah...I did that a lot to my fiance when we first met...I felt like i could trust him immediently. I mannaged to tell that poor kid about everything that had ever bothered me since childhood...all in one night! >.< I think its something women do...attatching to someone they feel trust with or something.
