Griffinpilot: I did see On the Waterfront, loved it, still need to see O Brother Where Art Thou?
Shelbellasmom: I am not too much a blood and gore guy, but I picked those films because I liked their presentations of human nature. Scarface I wasn't too hot on, same with Carlito's Way, but The Hunted looks good
HilarieBurton: I like your list.
Squatch: Good list too. FMJ is great
jblonde: Seven Samurai is great, but you need time to watch it, it is three and a half hours long
jmoose: Casino was alright, but it wasn't one of Scorsese's best.

Very good we have much the same taste in films.Sorry I am English so films.I would add the following to your list my top ten.Chinatown,The Sting,The Magnificent Seven,Lawrence of Arabia,Being There,Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,Pink Panther but with Peter Sellers,A Room with a View,Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,and lastly Death in Venice.

If you ask 10 guys this question I'd bet they same the same thing. This is a very "typical" guys kinda movie list. Not to say it a bad list of there are no good movies, I myself think some of these are F*&^&# great movies but this list lacks personality. For example for myself I love stupid zombie movies. I dont know why I just do. I know there dumb, cheezy and couldnt scare a 5 year old but its me. Put Dawn of the dead on my list and my girlfriend will know, only one weido would like to watch this.

It seems like you might have something there. It is worth nothing that Pulp Fiction is an excellent guide to life in general. It is a reminder that no matter how terrible a person you might be, no matter what horrible deeds you might have carried out, you still have the chance to change your ways.

not too bad, but pulp fiction should be replaced. and i would switch godfather with goodfellas. and where is casino? with the selection you have, it should be there. and add bubba ho-tep to the list and it's a 10.
