ER can't give medical advice over the phone.

There is no special number to get in touch with your family MD. Just call the office number you always use, and it will either connect to his answering service, where he can be paged, or give you instructions on how to make contact with him.

almost All dr's offices have an emergency answering service! You call the normal office number and it should put you through to the answering service- you leave a message- they page the dr on call for the office and usually within 30 minutes the dr will call your house!

If you cant get a hold of him, i would go straight to the ER. I wouldnt wait for something like this if i was experiencing that
