If you remember, he cried last year too. It's a tossup. What a great final game. We beat one of our rivalries and achieved a .500 season. Unfortunately, we lost a playoff berth to New York. Oh well.

Brett knows that Aaron Rodgers will be the starter next year. The Packers have made it very clear that they are ready to move on with the future of this team.
I don't see Brett as being anybodys backup. Which leaves two options. 1.) He comes back and plays for some other team which would be unimaginable seeing him in anything other than a Packer uniform. 2.) He retires.
Which would you prefer?

Brett Favre has given football fans some thrilling moments in his career, but his best days are behind him, I think. Brett hasn't been in prime condition for about five years now. He's nearing 40, and every game he plays is becoming a risk for him to hurt himself worse than ever before.
I think it's best that he leave with dignity, and give the rest of his healthiest years to his wife and children completely. The memories of Brett in his prime are enough to last us football fans for a lifetime. Give another young renegade the chance to bring Green Bay back to its former glory.

i hope not, i love to see him play. but if he does, he ended his career on a great note: smoking the bears on the road while getting the W.
