I think everyone is mixed somehow, there is no pure race. Somewhere back in time someone mixed with another and so on....no pure race exists today! My kids are half caucasian and half vietnamese, mixed with scottish, Irish, German, Finish, also comming from Buddist and mainly Catholic religon.
My children are so beautiful, and I thought they were so lucky to be such a mix of just about everything, Yet my children don't see it that way, They see it as some kind of a curse.... They aren't asian and they aren't white. My two look mainly asian, you can see they have a mix of something and it's hard to tell what kind of asian, My boy looks hispanic neigher asian nor white but hispanic, he has been mistaken for hispanic. I have one child that looks somewhat hispanic but more "exotic" no one can seem to be able to tell what her descent is? She is always asked "what is she?" This is the one question she really gets offended by and really makes her MAD! She of course replies' I am a human and I came from my mom and dad and I am definately not ignorant like you!
I thought it was such a wonderful thing to be mixed with all different cultures, traditions, race and religion, yet my kids seem to think otherwise. I feel this is all thanks to closed minded, prejudiced ignorant people. I wonder when will people just realize that no matter what our skin color, shape, beliefs, etc. that we are all just people?

my mother was a full blood German but dad was a typical mix of English - Irish - Scottish - Native American -- so like everyone else I am a typical American mix of flavors and appreciate the fact we all have a place here

Yup. Black, White, and Indian.

My children are White, Black, Swedish, and Indian (white husband and I'm black)

In this day and age, there are few "unmixed" people lol. Even the racist ones out there most likely have something floating about in their bloodline other than what they deem superior.

I'm Black/White... some Native American.

You'll have a hard time trying to find a person in America, thats completely one race.
