Why do people seem to hate our country so much? What will it take to bring back a little pride?

In fact it is not "seem", a lot of people hates America. Most of the middle east does.
Why ? Here are some answer coming from a French point of view :
- you try to impose your culture everywhere,
- you act alone when going to war without accepting the UN Security Council decisions,
- your President is a bit dumb,
- you refuse to sign the Kyoto agreement and prefer to save your economy instead of the planet,
- as a nation you have a history of less than 300 years and you think you already know everything.
I don't hate the US, just Bush
