I am writing a letter to my Governor to request a service in our community. How should I start it? To? Dear? How should I end it?
Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I will use this example from "Funk & Wagnall" . The Honorable Joseph L. Marvin. Governor of Idaho. Boise, Idaho. Open the letter with Sir(formal) or Dear Governor Marvin(informal). Close with Very truly yours(formal) or Sincerely yours(informal).
