There are several schools across the country that offer a program that when you graduate you will be eligible to be hired as a controller. Do a web search for
"College Training Initiative" FAA
for more information. Besides going through one of the approved colleges you can also get your training through the military.
As a heads up, not to disuade you b/c it is a great job, I love it, but the FAA recently has drastically reduced pay for incoming controllers and made the work environment quite unfriendly. IMHO. Be prepared to work shift work, midnight shifts, holidays. Good luck.

except you're in a tower, of which there are various fewer positions, you would be in a darkened room watching a reveal screen all day long, directing plane into and out of an airport or controlled airspace. it somewhat is unlike you could push a button and freeze each and all of the airplanes so which you would be able to snatch a snickers bar and a coke, then come again in a minute and shop on from there. you should be in entire administration of the area, in any respect situations. Sorry, even yet it does not sound like lots relaxing to me.
