Usually in the month or two leading up to the start of a semester community colleges (actually all colleges in my area) step up their advertisting. Most are probably starting the spring semesters within the next couple of weeks. And btw, there's nothing wrong with going to a community college as some people would have you believe. I started off at a community college, got my associate degree there and have since begun working on my bachelor degree, and was able to transfer 64 credits to the new school at a much lower cost than I otherwise would have had. Many now have the two plus two where you can do that...quite a convenience and there are some agreements in place with different schools including fast-tracking to a bachelors degree and so forth.
To go, call and set up an appointment with an advisor to discuss your options and what your interests are. They will need to get a copy of your high school transcript and you will also need to fill out an admission form. Some preadmission testing may also be required.

Never mind DD there. I went to community college because it was what I could afford at the age of 17..(.you see, mommy and daddy didn't hand me everything on a silver platter.) After I got out of High School, I went to the college and asked when registration took place, when classes started, and grabbed a catalog. I'm pretty sure I took a placement test as well. Anyway, 13 years as an interventional radiology tech has me quite comfortable right now, with a house and 2 apartments that I rent out...so much for "real" college, eh, DD?

When high school ends...it's time to go to a community college.
To get started go to the college sign up for the courses, pay for the classes and the books. They should give you a class schedule and you're all set!

After you graduate high school or get your GED, then you can go to the community college...or the university of your choice(provided that they accept you and you can afford the tuition.)
To get started going there, you should go visit them get an application and a catalog(the catalog should have an application in the back) or you can try their website. Check under the 'Admissions' section of the college you're interested in to find the answers to your questions.

Go to the office and tell them that you need to register. Most websites of colleges give the dates when you can begin to register. Then you need to see one of the counselor so that they can help you decide what classes you need to take. Don't wait until the last minute because depending on what state you live in, some colleges required certain test that you may not have taken. GOOD LUCK!

go to their offices and get signed up, its very soon to the time classes are starting. I think you need to be a high school graduate, unless you are taking your g.e.d. course, or just taking classes for fun or personal information, and not towards a degree, and be able to pay for your classes and supplies up front. A lot of communites send out a flyer with the courses available, a month or so before classes start.

You just go around this time or around april, ask when classes start, get a schedule, register, and pay. It's really easy. You can call and ask even. And when you're asking questions like these, it's probably time to go.

You go to the school and talk with someone in enrollment. They test you, help you fill out financial aid paper work and once you are accepted they will give you your schedule and let you know when classes start.

All you need to go to community college is the money to pay for it...and you might not even need that.
