Did this happen once or a repeat? You said that she pumped up her stomach and started to cry later, sounds like she did not burp the air out after the feeding. That caused her to throw up. When you picked her up the air pushed out the food from her stomach. Try burping her longer and hold her upright for at least 5 minutes after a feeding and burping. If she repeats to throw up, you should see a doctor as soon as you can.
She will not dehydrate if she does not eat for some time, but check her soft spot to see that it is not sunken, if you too worried give her some water and try to feed her as soon as she is willing to eat again.

Get some pedialite and mix alittle bit in with her bottle. It will really help to keep her from becoming dehydrated. A little throw up isn't bad but if it is repeated throughout the night I would call and set up a doctors appointment.

If she doesn't eat in an hour, or throws up again go to the hospital if you are concerned. Better safe than sorry.
You don't say whether you breastfeed or not. If you formula feed you can offer NO MORE THAN 2oz of boiled water with a little salt (and a little sugar if you desire). Breastfed babies should not be offered water or oral rehydration solution. Breastmilk has the same mineral salt level as oral rehydration solutions AND has antibodies.

Trip to the ER, as many suggested here, is no fun for 4.5 years old - it can get nasty out there and you can drive yourself crazy waiting for admission. You should call your pediatrician's office instead and have him/her paged. Your doctor should tell you whether to give anything to your daughter and whether trip to ER is necessary. You doctor might even be able to tell you something calming and assuring - remember your nervousness passes down to your daughter. Hope she gets well soon.
