I have been seperated from my husband for 2 years and am in the middle of a divorce and have a new relationship and i have been criticized for having a new relationship. Maybe I am wrong but I dont see how it is harming my children they are happy and loved and well taken care of by me their mother

Because alot of women become more into the new relationship than they are into their kids. The kids need to be by far and away number one to both parents. Relationships take alot of time.

there's nothing wrong w/a new relationship as long as the kids are the number one priority and the new guy knows that too....there are so many blended familes out there who regret their choice of remarrying because of all the arguements over the kids, my kids, your kids, bla bla bla....maybe they see something in this guy that makes them wary that if you become serious, he will turn out to NOT treat the kids well. It happens all the time, on both sides, stepmoms and stepdads....

what! don't listen to them at all because its your life that you are living not there's and what they expect you to be alone all your life. you need to do what feel right to you and not whats right to them. you owe it to yourself to have happiness and your kids want to see you happy to. its not a crime to move on in life because life is to short and happiness comes once in a while, twice if your lucky. now you got a good man who treats you and your kids right, so if you do what everybody else says then you going to regret for the rest of your life. follow your heart not what other people say.
