Probably if you were a black person you would understand, but black people have endured years of intense slavery and many have struggled and even died to fight for and to stop discrimination. Black people endured racial beatings, executions, unfair trials, lynching and the list goes on. The reason why some discriminate against others is simply because they are still angry or upset at the way their ancestors and parents were abused, neglected and treated inhumanely by the wider society.

With Black people everything is race! Not only Black people but Asians as well. In fact the only racism I have witnessed was against white people and being committed by Asians. I have even heard Asian people say "If anyone complains about me I'll say "they complain because I'm a Chinese. I heard a Fillipino man say "If I don't the job I'll play the race card" White people don't have this option! And White people are not the bad guys they are made out to be....The histories we are taught are not necessarily the turth... White people have evolved on ward to be true Americans where race/ethnicity is not an issue. I think Asians and Black people are still growing. And are (dare I say It) as yet not as evolved as White people. So they need to relie on race to be whole and safe. Or to achieve something. Whether it be a promotion or acceptance into an elite club! I love all races. I detest true racism. This is my opinion based on my own individual experiences in life.

Yes you're right. We discriminate because we were discriminated. I'm sure if you had to go to school each day in the South Bronx like I had too and had to wonder why I have to live like this you would discrimate too. We weren't born discriminating other races. We developed it by listening to Nas rapping about it, going to school learning about it and us living a hard knock life. We were treated badly and now that all that's done, there's a thing called payback.

Prejudice and discrimination are a sordid part of human nature and/or socialization. So yes, black people are both discriminated against and do discriminate. Other people are discriminated against because of their beauty (or lack thereof), their weight, their job, their education, their socieoeconomic class, etc. and they still discriminate based on one thing or another. As I say, it's an unfortunate part of human nature to judge. But to at least be aware of one's own prejudices and biases, and to seek to kindly encourage others to seek truth rather than stereotypes. . . that's where we as individuals can make a difference in this world.

I don't think that's true I don't discriminate against others I am very accepting of everyone. But I do see what your saying about reversal discriminating some do and no one says anything to them because I think some believe they earned the right to.

Do you believe that only whites and blacks discriminate? Every racial, political, socio-economic, religious and national group discriminates against someone. We all do things that we believe will protect our society, whether it be limiting another race access or barring some kinds of religious practices. Prejudice will always be with us. It's the degree to which our discriminatory attitudes interfere with the rights of others that is the real issue.

It's in human nature to discriminate, so it's not just some black people that do it. Some, not all people discriminate others because they think they have the right to, because they don't think before they do and more than often, they simply think that they're better.

Don't you mean why do SOME black people....Please watch how you phrase questions.
I had one of the same experiences in college were My oral report (on the civil war) was given in 5 min as the prof requested. However the oral on MLK and Malcolm X were allowed longer time. Not that they aren't important but I could have done a lot more with the civil War had I had a longer time limit you know? But this was more political correctness as my prof was white.

because maybe they have lower self esteem. not sure. not all black people are like that tho. maybe some only.
I like all kind of people but as far as why they discriminated. you know, we can sit here for hundred year and never figured exactal why.
most important thing is? what are you going to do with it?
are you going to let them affect you or you going discriminate back to them?
I think fire with fire is not good. I like all people. I believe what comes around will goes around. so in other worlds, be kind to others, and if they are not kind to you back, at least you have did your best and you had been a kind person.
I am Buddhist so we believe in karma and we believe in cause and affect. I am just a beginner so can't explain to you much but the key is. we don't have power or control how others is going to react to us.
but we have control and power how we going to react to the action of what others did to us.
they can discriminate me, but I will do my best to be fair and not to discriminiate them. not because of color because we all equal and we all should respect each other.
anyway, don't feel so mad. just think about what they went through just hundred years ago. then maybe we shouldn't feel so angry.
take care

continuously. it truly is humorous that i'm getting discriminated from blacks, yet once I meet a white individual or an Asian or Latino individual, i'm welcomed with open palms. the only racism i've got encountered (the little bit I easily have encountered) replaced into from my own! It used to harm me lots whilst i replaced into youthful, like in middle college. yet now i don't permit it get to me because of the fact I remind myself that all of us is ignorant in each and every shape and sort and that i'll be greater efficient off without them. now and back i might additionally be noted as names via my own mom and grandmother. One time my mom pronounced she did not think of i replaced into black adequate. i replaced into approximately 13! How do you anticipate somebody to react to that? How are you categorised as 'black adequate'? youngsters have even noted as me honky, youngsters would be so cruel. Sorry i don't desire to sound like i'm telling my existence tale, yet you get the gist. yet I won't say sorry for liking particular kinds of movies or music or dressing a undeniable sort of way or keeping myself as much as a undeniable sort of time-honored.
