Walmart brand-Parent's Choice-Approx $11/pack
They are the cheapest in my area and work just as well as the pampers/huggies that cost $20/pack! They just end up in the trash so why would I pay more for brand name??

Pampers are the best diapers, but they also happen to be the most expensive. The only off brand diapers that I've found that work well are Parent's Choice. They are half the price of Pampers, but get the job done with out leaks. Luvs really didn't work for my son even as a preemie. Someone bought me three packs at a baby shower. After using half of one package, I returned the other two and got store credit which I used for one pack of Pampers. Huggies also work well, but they cost the same as Pampers and aren't as good, in my opinion. My advice is to try a few different kinds. Get the small packs, and find a brand you like in the beginning. Good luck and Congrats on the baby!

Try using the Target Brand Diapers a lettle less then $6.00 a pack, or White Cloud Diapers for about $7.00 a pack by Walmart. I have used Walmart's Parent's Choice Diapers(for the same price as the Target brand)before and the tape didn't hold the diaper too well. One other diaper that I forgot to mention was Kroger diapers. I bought a small pack of these when he was a newborn and thought they were a very good diaper.
I used to think that the Pamer's diaper's were great until I noticed the smell and they gave my son some kind of weird reaction to the diapers. Luvs are also made by the same company that makes Pamers, so I would stay away from these. I just don't think that odor is safe.
The best advise that I can give you is to try many different brands and find out which one works best for your baby. Every baby is different, so the diapers fit differently.

My husband and I always bought Pampers Swaddlers and then the Cruisers but when he had to take a lower paying job we couldn't afford them so we tried the White Cloud diapers from Wal-Mart.
We have tried Huggies and the Parent's Choice diapers but they don't hold nearly as much as Pampers and White Cloud.
If you have a very active child then I would suggest going with the White Cloud because those tabs stick so much that I sometimes have a hard time getting them undone.

I'm thinking you are asking about diapers for baby's so my choice is
Pamper's Crusiers. My baby is tall and skinny, they fit him best. They also last way longer than huggies through the night. I like this brand better because it is easier to clean poop off my baby's butt with the absorb away liner and keeps the pee away too. I always promply change the baby as soon as he poops or pees, annnnd I haven't gotten a rash or any leaks with this brand. Huggies and luvs didn't fit right on my baby, and they always leaked! eww! And the super cheapo brands never lasted through the night on my baby and they usually don't have the absorb away liner, which keeps baby dry and turns the pee into that dry weird stuff in the diaper.

We used cloth diapers for our first two children, then moved to an apt. that didn't have washer/dryer hook-up in our unit, so we ended up using disposable with the third child. From experience, the cheaper ones work just as well as the expensive ones (sometimes better - depending on the brand) - and as was mentioned before, it also depends on your baby's body type (chunky, long and lean, etc.).

I probasbly used everything under the sun at one tiome or another...pampers, Luvs, huggies as well as discount brands. I found a little difference, some were better thanothers. if you have the x tra money go with pampers or huggies. My nephew outgrew them long ago now I use attends youth or some similar youth product.

the cheapest ones you'll find are cloth diapers-they are reusable, washable at home, and you'll never have to drop money in the middle of the night at walmart when you run out. You can also use them on future children or sell them.

Pampers swaddlers are the only ones I have found that 1) fit my daughter and 2) hold a decent amount.
But each kid is different - I have a friend who uses the Rite Aid brand of diapers, she says they work just as well for her baby.

When our son was first born, we used Walmarts Parents Choice, because they were very reasonably priced, however, once he turned 4 months, we found that Pampers worked much better for his growing bladder, lol. They pull the wetness away from the baby's skin, which may also help in getting a longer night sleep:0)
