I had a hysterectomy over 20- years ago and still have the numbness in the lower abdomen. I was told when I had it that I would probably suffer numbness as when they do the incision often they nick nerves. It's not really anything to worry about, but if you do have concerns, please make an appointment to see your doctor and talk to him/her about it.

I had 2 c-sections over 10 yrs ago & I still have some numbness. It's from where they made the incision, they cut some nerves. some of the feeling will probably come back as it heals. It could take a couple of years even.

Nerve damage, I had a hysterectomy and don't have that problem. I would see a doctor and see if anything can be done to fix or help the issue.

Hmm- you might want to get a check-up. It seems to me something got cut that shouldn't be, possibly nerves.
