Rather than a specific list of comforting type songs, what has helped me in grieving times is listening to music or songs that remind me of the good memories or celebrate the life of my individual loved ones.
An example of this is that I can't hear any John Denver music without smiling & thinking of my Uncle and good times with his guitar.
Hope this helps... sorry for your loss.

The song "Rest In Peace" by BuckzXL is my favorite song. I don't know if you have heard of him but you could download from lime wire. The lyrics are really good and the best part is the chorus. You just have to listen to it yourself.

I agree with Britt - "Held" by Natalie Grant is a great song.
Chorus:
"This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held."
