I found a bag of animal crackers in an old diaper bag that I was giving to a friend for her baby- they've been there since AT LEAST February, 2004.
And they're not at all moldy.
Isn't that a disturbing thought?

no way, they're just starting to soften up a bit when they get that old, the optimum age is 8 yrs, like a nice single malt

They last awhile, I bought a huge family size bag and my son ate them, they lasted the whole year, were not stale
