I agree. It all depends on the colour you choose. Contouring is supposed to resemble a natural shadow, therefore it needs to be a deeper colour and have a muted undertone. No pinks or peaches here! Highlighting gives the contour more effect.

well not blush but try a bronzer.
1) make fish face (suck in mouth like youve just sucked a lemon)
2) turn your face so that the lighting lets you see your cheekbones
3) rub bronzer in on those parts
4) put a bit over your eyebrows, on temples, right above collarbone, and nose
remember, do not over do it, othrwise it will look fake, if it is too dark maybe put a loose powder over it or sponge it a bit.

Depends on how you use the colors. Use a deeper one in the hollows of your cheek, a medium one on the apples and a shimmery one above that and blend,blend,blend. You can also blend the darkest shade onto your forehead, it sort of looks like parenthasis at the side of your head until you blend it in, it gives even more dimention to your face.
