To become a nurse you need to get good grades prior to applying for a nursing school.... it's a very competitive application process especially at a time when space in nursing programs is scarce. It also doesn't hurt to show that you are involved in the community when applying..... go out and join in some community service activities! Anyway you need either your associates or bachelors degree, but I recommend getting the bachelors because it shows a higher skill level but an associates is okay too!
