With life on earth the probablity is that there is, since there are billions and billions of other star systems out there and most likely there is life somewhere else.

Yes, even if just 1 in a million stars had a planet like ours, and 1 in a trillion of those developed any kind of life there would still be millions of planets with intelligent life

one of those being close to us slim

a planet with any kind of life could be fairly abundent

If you consider the "Drake Equation" you end up asking yourself not if there is life, but where is there life. It is believed that the Milky Way Galaxy is made up of nearly 400 billion stars. When it's calculated out with current information, the equation tells us there could be as many as 1100 different planets supporting extraterrestrial civilizations just in our galaxy alone that are capable of sending and receiving radio signals.
When you consider that the Milky Way is just one of hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe, each holding hundreds of billions of stars, how can alone doubt there is life out there somewhere.

there's no proof either way
but there is a possibility
seein that there are so many different types of life on earth
so maybe the other planets have entirely different types of life that we've never seen

There has to be. If we are the only ones then I am highly concerned that God couldn't make brighter life forms.
