depends on the rules you and that friend set from the beginning...
but i would say it's morally wrong, and i wouldn't do it. causes to much pain, drama, and you could loose a friend. why go through that?

Well I would first discuss it with your friend, is she going out with someone else, and if so, then I dont see the harm, many good relationships have come from being friends with someone elses 'ex' so to speak, and its not until they have a fallin out, that true feelings are expressed. Talk to your friend first and if she really doesnt have a problem with it, then I dont see why you should not date the person. The discussion would have to be a real 'heart to heart' that you have with your friend, because remember good friends need respect and consideration too. Good Luck

Yes it's against the rules, why do you want their left overs anyways? No matter if she likes him or not, it will most likely bite you in the *** to date him. . .find someone else

i am gonna jump out on a limb here, and guess that you talked to your other friend. i read sme of these ansswers with the "women code of ethics" and what not. guess what, that doesnt matter. you have free will. talk to your friend, and get a "no bull-**** straight to the point" answer of the consequences. good look.

p.s. sorry about the shot on "women code of ethics". im a man. i appologize. maybe there really is one though?hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???/???

Are you close friends or just mutual acquaintances? If your close, than dating her X is very wrong. You should be considerate of her feelings...you would not want her to do the same to you...right? If your just acquaintances (not close) than I do not see a problem with dating her X!!!

Do you value your friendship with your friend? If yes, don't date the ex, if no, date the ex!! - your decision, your life. Good luck.
