My wallet contains three letters; one each from my mother, my first adoptive father, and my second adoptive father, respectively. Mom says it's not that you're the wrong size, it's just that you need new pants (I was 13). Dad #1 says that I am the greatest blessing he's ever had, and thanks me for a wonderful Father's Day (I was 8 or 9). Dad #2 says that he's proud of me, and I'm growing into a beautiful woman (I was 12). There's my sappy side.
