any tips and tricks about selling on ebay

I always research what I am selling buy scrolling and watching other sellers sell the item I am selling...I then determine if it is even worth listing based on how much other sellers are making. If it is, then I copy...in my own words...the listing of the most profitable listing....I also determine the best time to have my listings end, (because that is when most people see them.) You don't want your listing to end at a time like 4am...because no one will see it. I have found listings that end on Sunday evenings to be the most profitable.

Take good clear pictures. Don't get too wordy in descriptions and word things clearly to elminate doubt in the items quality.

Yes. Pick a format for your eBay web page and stick with it. By that I mean use the eBay form for selling an item but then insert your own HTML to customize the page. Once you like what you see stick with that same format for all items you sell just changing the guts as to what your selling. Make this page look professional, stay way from fancy backgrounds, flower icons and so forth. Make sure to have a couple of images to upload or host on your own web server. I never buy anything without an image of the actual product.

Second setup a Paypal account. Most buyers will only deal with Paypal or similar service for payment.

Third sell some stuff quick and cheap making sure you sell the product and ship it fast and ask for buyers to fill out a rating. Once you get some feedback people are more likely to buy form you.

Stick with a product line. Selling your old stuff is one thing but if one day you sell a dress and the next you sell a PocketPC you might start looking funny to potential buyers.

Hello Friend,
If you want to know about eBay, and what products to sell, as well as a wholesale source, this is the best one: http://www.dropship-business.com/index.html?aid=156376
. I used to sell as much as $30,000 a month in products (honest). I stopped last year due to Multiple Sclerosis. But I honestly have alot of knowledge. I was one of the top 3 power sellers in my category. First step sign up at the link above, (and YES I do make a commission when you sign up, but when you do, I will give you all my tips and tricks, they have three different levels of service. You can just buy the drop shipping package if you want, this means that you never have to handle merchandise. When someone pays you for an auction, you simply go to your site and order the product and it is shipped directly to your customer. If you can afford it, try to sign up for option 3 (complete package). This will give you a website for your products, as well as generate ads for eBay, and it generates data feeds for Comparison Shopping sites like Froogle, Google Base, Shopping.com, etc.,. This will help you earn revenue in other places than just eBay. Also, I will lead you to a source that will make everything you sell on eBay run on auto-pilot.
If you are interested, sign up for the service and then email me at support@home-biz-group.com . Whether you choose to do this or not, I wish you all the luck in the world, and also, be very careful, there are alot of scams out there!

Make your descriptions very acurate but short and to the point.
Also, make bidding end about 9:00PM est tues-thurs. This is when people have more opportunity to stick around to bid.
Make sure the shipping is very close to accurate. Use the calculated shipping and give many options.

Don't forget to use craigslist as well. Sell stuff locally and tax free!

Cash deals and not percentage like you have to pay ebay.

i know people who do ebay
you go and take pics of ur stuff
put a price wait till something
gets bided on then if it does not get bided by like 7days you have to re-list it again
or maybe more.
then you wait who ever has the highest bid gets it
i think something like that
