I had one and all I had to do was get it fixed and either show a police officer or the DMV could check it out and sign off the ticket. Then you need to mail it into the court and here in California I just paid $10 to process the ticket. Really easy.

I got one of those to last year. I fixed it and walked into the local Police station and an officer saw that I fixed the problem and signed the ticket off.

If you had it done at a garage, your receipt should work. Otherwise, call the department that issued the ticket (city, county or state) and ask them. Check the ticket also as there is probably a number on there somewhere.

take it to the police department you received the ticket from.show them it has been fixed usualy the ticket is voided and you owe nothing.unless of course you went beyond the expiration of the ticket to comply (usualy 10days some states give 15 days to comply).

The cop should have told you what to do- if it's fixed, take the receipt the court and they should dismiss the case.

You have to see the person that gave you the ticket.
