Is it wrong for me to be 3 years older than my boyfriend? You see I don't know what to do, b/c he's dad doesn't like me b/c of me being 3 years older than my boyfriend. What should I do? Yeah this 17 year old girl finally left my 14 year old grandson alone. The family said good riddance when she finally found someone her own age.

To break up with him b/c his dad doesn't like you is simply lame. My husband is 11 years older than me, I wasn't his first choice to his family, but tough they got over it and we are happily married and have a baby.
I have many friends that are dating guys younger than them. I have one friend that has been with the same guy for about 5 years and he's about 5 years younger than her and she's very happy.
Do what makes you happy, and if the father tell you something you be the mature one and tell him... "Do you rather your son be with a younger girl that may not care or want him for him, or do you rather see him with someone that really truly cares, loves, and wants to be with him." Good luck.

I think you should do whatever your heart feels. You will understand why his dad feels this way someday when you have your own children. Most parents are very protective over their children. It is very hard to let them grow up and start a life of their own. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide is best for you and your boyfriend.

No, its ok to be 3years older than him. Look at the celebs in Holly Wood they are all like 20 or 30 years older than there partners.

my mom is 3 years older than my dad and they have been married for going on 52 yrs so u ain't got nothing to worry about but u never said how old u were hmmmmm....

I'll put it this way if he loves u & u love him it doesn't matter , my inlaws will never accept me bcuz i am a strong minded woman & they can't stand it bcuz they could intimidate & control his other wife & guess what i aint having it. If u love him that is what matters & what matters is where his heart & mind is. Love is unconditional not material or a popualrity contest.
