why would my doctor test me twice during my pregnancy for hiv, rubella, & hepatitis b???

These tests will be positive some time after you've been exposed. So while the first tests may be negative, if you have been exposed recently, the positive result will not show up until later. Testing twice will cover more ground.

HIV, Rubella and Hepatitis B can be dangerous to your baby! But if you are positive, treatment can begin immediately, limiting any danger to your fetus.

Maybe the first time he tested you he didn't get enough?!? I really have no idea why he would test you twice! Ask him. If you cant trust your dr they why are you with him? Just ask! I'm sure it's nothing, just a precaution.

The first tests may have come back inconclusive! did you ask your doctor? try not to worry you will bring on to much uneeded stress!

so he knows whether or not you have it? especially, if you've had sexual relations with different partners during your pregnancy.

Those diseases don't show up immediately.
